Happy Easter, Taylor Nation! Play nice.
Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s working tomorrow Monday because that’s how it goes sometimes, we’re just here to catch you up on oncoming events. Although already announced, it bears repeating that the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards is coming up in a week (April 3). I hope you voted for the Sparkly Dressed, because from what I understand the voting is now closed. She leads the nominations because… she’s Taylor.
Taylor was a winner in 2015, so initially that should act against her – then again she’s got 1989 as her Album of the Year entry which can’t be ignored easily. With Justin Bieber and Meghan Trainor set to perform, odds are strong that they’ll win in their categories. It would be easy to call MTV rules on this one but…
Oh yeah, let me explain that quick. “MTV rules” is this term I coined for that scenario in which the winner of the award is the only nominee that shows up. That being said, if more artists show up this could turn into a bigger event, which will give iHeartRadio some more prestige in the award show circuit. At least they don’t give out surfboards.
On other news, Happy Easter! Taylor shared a couple of short clips of herself and Austin Swift playing a game she calls the “Easter Egg Battles”. Enjoy.
Let me give you a word of advice. If you’re going to try this at home, show this to a parent first and make sure both siblings play nice. Otherwise, I’m sure you both are going to be stuck cleaning up egg from the kitchen floor and walls.
