The best people in life are free, Taylor Nation. Kinda. Sorta.
The New Romantics music video is out right now on Apple Music. Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who understands that the music business is first and foremost a business, we’re just hoping to announce when the video is actually out for free, meaning YouTube. In no doubt a savvy business move, Taylor has given Apple Music the premiere for a hopefully really short (is it over yet) exclusivity period. From what we can guess, seems it involves a lot of concert footage.
I get it. I don’t like the whole exclusivity thing, but that’s how business work with releases.
“The fans are the best part of this tour,” says the Blonde With The Sparkly 1989 Microphone during the video’s introduction. “They’re the reason the shows are incredible. And I know there’s fans out there that are just all in. I don’t wanna forget anything that happened on this tour. It was one of those remarkable moments in time when everything felt exciting. Looking out into an endless ocean of a crowd, that was everything. We’re all really sad that it’s ending, but we’re really happy because of what it was.”
