And a few things we’re just guessing, Taylor Nation.
Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who blogs while on vacation about the Blonde With A Sparkly 1989 Microphone who wins awards while on a break, we were thrilled for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards tonight, May 22nd. We were, indeed, until we started hearing that our Sparkly Dressed muse might not be attending. First of all, we’ve heard about Calvin Harris’ car accident. According to E! Online, he was a passenger in a car that got hit by another vehicle and he has only minor injuries. He’s checked himself out of the hospital already. Apparently he’s ok, but he’s canceling some performances.
Going back to the Enchantress, she’s nominated for:
- Top Artist
- Top Female Artist
- Top Billboard 200 Artist
- Top Hot 100 Artist
- Top Radio Songs Artist
- Top Social Media Artist
- Top Touring Artist
- Top Billboard 200 Album
The BBMAs have released a seating chart. Taylor is absent. Teen Vogue has added a description regarding Serayah that mentions T-Swizzle: “Though Serayah’s BFF Taylor isn’t planning to attend…” So we might be Swift-less tonight. A big shoutout to @belleswift17 for the detective work in finding that quote.
Yes, basically we’re playing another round of an old game we call Where in the world is Taylor Swift? Fun for all ages. She doesn’t need to be anywhere right now, but if she’s not intentionally planning to appear at the BBMA’s that means I’m only half-watching the show. Still, it’s not like she could show up anywhere else where we could see her. Might as well watch the show and cheer for her winning some more accolades. Hopefully we get some video acceptances if she’s lucky.
Remember that everyone deserves their own turn at the spotlight.
