Capture it, remember it, Taylor Nation.
The Blonde With The Sparkly Snake Microphone played the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on June 8 and 9. Along for the ride, were her already popular opening acts Charli XCX and Camila Cabello.
The Enchantress had something to say to the crowd. Just over a year ago, Manchester was the setting for a terror attack, a bombing that took the lives of 22 people just after an Ariana Grande concert on May 22nd, 2017. Taylor wanted to make sure they knew she remembered.

“What happened a year ago was an attempt to steal that innocent and excitement of a pop concert and since then you’ve shown such strength,” she told the crowd. “You’ve shown you have such incredible resilience to keep dancing and to keep the joy and keep the excitement. I just want to say, Manchester, it is such an honour to play for you tonight.”
Taylor’s surprise songs on the B-stage were acoustic versions of “I Knew You Were Trouble” on Friday, June 8 and “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” on Saturday, June 9th. You can find a growing compilation of her surprise songs on Billboard.
