I’m pretty sure she bought that dress for several reasons, Taylor Nation…!
Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who just came back from holidays, we just turned on our TV at the right moment to see the Golden Globes announce their next presenters. They were Idris Elba and his Cats co-star, “the global superstar with the biggest US tour in history”, Taylor Swift. Stop the presses! That being said the moment was made even greater as the award presented and the winning nominee truly fitted the mood. It was the Best Song and the winner was “Shallow” from the movie A Star is Born. Lady Gaga wrote the song with Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt, produced it with Benjamin Rice and performed it with Bradley Cooper.
So, cue this moment and start the waterworks:
Yes, that’s a screen capture. I’ve been waiting for an official picture of Taylor and Gaga all morning and I’ve got nothing so far. Were the photographers on break or what? Sorry for the shade but I will add a picture of both superstars if/when it shows up.
She also popped up via a video message for Elizabeth Moss, star of The Handsmaid’s Tale, delivered on the red carpet.
Also, I guess that Cats movie is really happening, eh. When I heard about it first I thought, you gotta be kitten me. I will try to withhold making any cat jokes for meow but my restraint is not the best.
On other news, somebody wake up the ninjas. We’re back on the clock, people!
Coming up next in the Calendar:
- February 10: The 61st Annual Grammy Awards. Taylor Swift’s Reputation is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album.
