Just like a rainbow with all of the colours, dear fandomites.
The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar Which Has Hearts On It Now played the 2019 iHeartRadio Wango Tango in Carson, California. Her short setlist consisted of favourites “Shake It Off”, “Blank Space”, “I Knew You Were Trouble”, “Love Story”, an acoustic rendition of “Delicate”, “Style”, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and “ME!” which featured special guest Brendon Urie. It was a good sample of her hit songs for her time on stage. It’s probably now starting to hit me how extensive her catalog of songs is becoming and how much more she’ll need to mix some of them together for her next concert. She made it extremely clear she was all in on Pride Month.
It’s wonderful to be spending this particular evening with you, because today is the first day of Pride Month. A lot of my songs are about love, and I just feel like who you love, how you identify, you should be able to live your life the way you want to live your life with the same rights as everybody else. So I started this petition, and you can find the link on my Instagram. It’s for the Equality Act. and it basically just says that we want to send a message to our government that we believe everybody should be treated fairly in this country. If you sign it, it would really mean a lot to me, because I think we need to stick up for each other and stand together. Don’t you?
There’s a great review by Chris Willman on Variety if you want to know more.
And once more, nothing to report on the Calendar yet. I’m pretty sure it won’t stay that way for long.
