This Just In: The Man, the music video, premieres February 27!

Just like Leo in Saint-Tropez, Nation of Swifties.

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who blogs about Taylor Swift the artist and stays clear of her private life, we’re glad we’re getting a music video for “The Man”. Contrary to what the title says, it’s really about empowering a woman and by setting an example (at a quite high bar, I must add) it becomes about empowering all women. We’ll talk about the hands after the jump.

With little to nothing to go on, I’ve heard a common theory going around in Twitter. The Sparkly Dressed mentioned 18 female names in her acceptance speech for Billboard’s Woman of the Decade award. She could be referring to the appearance of them in the video plus… herself? To avoid you the long time to look this up, here’s the snippet:

And I see that fire in the newer faces in our music industry, whose work I absolutely love. I see it in Lizzo, Rosalía, Tayla Parx, Hayley Kiyoko, King Princess, Camila Cabello, Halsey, Megan Thee Stallon, Princess Nokia, Nina Nesbitt, Sigrid, Normani, H.E.R., Maggie Rogers, Becky G., Dua Lipa, Ella Mai, Billie Eilish… And so many more amazing women who are making music right now.

Whether or not this theory checks out, we won’t have to wait long to find out 😉
