Because we have to, Nation of Swifties.
Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s staying home and managing to get some work done, we hope you’re all following suit. The digital event of One World: Together At Home took place last night, April 18. Taylor Swift gave us a heartfelt live performance of “Soon You’ll Get Better” at the piano. She kept things simple, with one camera focused on her and a second one on her hands on the keys.
“Soon You’ll Get Better” is a heart-wrenching choice of a track. I was basically frozen in place during the performance and found myself holding my breath. The song, written as a dedication from Taylor to her mother Andrea, is deeply rooted in a daughter’s love and Andrea’s fight against cancer. As all of Taylor’s songs go, it is very relatable and eerily relevant. The lines, “this won’t go back to normal, if it ever was” feel almost written to reflect the times.
Stay safe out there, and stay in.

You might want to rethink using the word regaled to describe what she did. Words matter.
She gave such a beautiful and moving performance. I doubt it was an easy song for her to sing, but I’m proud of her for singing it. I agree, the lyrics, “this won’t go back to normal, if it ever was” feel as if they were written for these times. Stay safe!
