This Just In: Taylor Swift performs this Sunday at the GRAMMYs!

Okey almost just in, Taylor Nation.

Or perhaps I should say Folklorians now? Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s got to put in the hours at his day job because there’s bills to pay, we’re just glad we’re heading towards some warmer weather soon up here in Canada. The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar might actually be performing this Sunday, March 14 as part of the 63rd GRAMMY Awards, along with folklore collaborators and co-producers Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff.

The Forever and Always Fearless One is nominated for Album of the Year for folklore, Song of the Year for “Cardigan”, Best Pop Solo Performance for “Cardigan”, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Exile” featuring Bon Iver, Best Pop Vocal Album for folklore and Best Song Written For Visual Media Category for “Beautiful Ghosts” from the movie “Cats”, co-written with Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The show airs at 8pm ET on CBS. Expect all ads to be preceded by “coming up after the break, Taylor Swift performs” just to keep Swifties glued to the entire show. Here we go again, fam…

Coming up on the Calendar!

  • March 14th: The 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards. Taylor Swift is nominated for six awards including Album of the Year for folklore.
  • April 9th: Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is released. Fearlessly.

    1. I can never guess what Taylor is going to do 🙂 Champagne Problems would be a good candidate. Cardigan doesn’t really need a push at this point. Still, I would expect something from folklore. If I had a vote, it would probably be for Tolerate It, but that one works best as a solo song on the piano. If she has Dessner and Antonoff, it should be one that works for them too.

      1. True … maybe August since there are a lot of moving parts to that one? or maybe the last great american dynasty? guess we’ll have to wait and see ahah!

If you’re interested, I’ve done an animated music video for Champagne Problems on my YouTube here: https://youtu.be/U05qEyE0RqM

        Hope you like it 🙂

    1. Yes and yes. I also would love for her to sing Exile live on the broadcast, but it wouldn’t be the same without Iver. I don’t see the recording academy giving T a winning sweep like the old days, but I do think that Exile performance is a winner. The more reason to watch on Sunday.
