The 63rd GRAMMY Awards: Taylor Swift wins Album of The Year for Folklore!

We’re all winners, Taylor Nation.

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who could use another nap, we’re not getting too old for this stuff yet. The 63rd GRAMMY Awards took place this Sunday, March 14 with Taylor having accumulated 10 accolades from past ceremonies. The Forever and Always Fearless One had six nominations tonight. She only got one, but it was the historic one: Album of the Year for folklore. Taylor is now the first ever female artist to win this award three times.

I know she may not have one of her old sweeps, but let’s be honest – I think Taylor has nothing to prove to anybody at this point. Taylor performed a medley of “Cardigan”, “August” and evermore’s “Willow” along with folklore collaborators and co-producers Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff. Let’s go to the video!

I would’ve loved “Exile” feat. Bon Iver or a low key performance of “Tolerate It” from Evermore but I am not complaining. It was good to see her performing live again. And hopefully we’ll get to see her performing again sometime soon.

Here’s another bonus clip of Taylor backstage after winning Album of the Year.

Up next… Well in a twist of fate, we’re waiting on Fearless.

Coming up on the Calendar!

  • March 14th: The 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards. Taylor Swift is nominated for six awards including Album of the Year for folklore.
  • April 9th: Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is released. Fearlessly.

  1. I am pleased she won album of the year. Do you know who wo the duet category?
Exile is going to be one of my all time top duets.
I love her flower dress – so gorgeous!!! And I loved the way she thanked Joe! Oh Taylor – she always makes me smile 🙂

    1. The Best Pop Duo/Group Performance went to “Rain on Me” by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. It was a fine evening and seeing her perform, win and accept her award made it even better.
