2021 iHeart Radio Music Awards: Taylor Swift wins Pop Album of the Year for Folklore

She also wins most adorable virtual hug ever, Taylor Nation.

Here at the Swift Agency, just one more fan that is real proud of the Sparkly Dressed, we’re just hoping the sun shines and it’s a beautiful day for everyone soon. The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar Which Matches The Microphone And The Dress was not in attendance at the 2021 iHeart Radio Music Awards but she still won Pop Album of the Year for folklore.

In her acceptance speech via video, Taylor Swift thanked her collaborators Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff as well as Beth Garrabrant, the artist who photographed all the art for the folklore album. The video seemed to depict the Enchantress in a music studio, which begs the question what album is coming next??? Someone cue suspenseful music here.

Coming up in the Calendar!

  • June 6: Taylor Swift is nominated for International Album of the Year for folklore at the JUNO Awards. It’s a Canadian thing. Canadian Swifties represent!
  • June 9: Taylor Swift will receive the Songwriter Icon Award from the National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA) on their Annual Meeting.
