The Snake Queen appears in the cover of British Vogue magazine for the January 2018 edition. The magazine features a 12-page shoot.

On other news, you probably saw Taylor Swift’s sets at iHeartRadio Jingle Ball and at Poptopia and are now pumped for a full reputation Stadium Tour concert. If so, you should check out Ticketmaster’s Taylor Swift Tix Official FAQ for any questions BEFORE your pre-sale date.

Dates range from tomorrow, Tuesday December 5 to Friday December 8. Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who wishes best luck to everyone, we still harbour some hope for a smaller venue local concert. I will be honest, it’s looking a little bleak. You might want to get some chance than none at all.

May the odds be forever in your favour.

Coming up in the Calendar:

  • December 5-8: The pre-sale starts for the first US Stadium Tours from Ticketmaster.
  • December 7, 2017: Taylor Swift plays at B96’s Jingle Bash at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
  • December 13: Jumping to the pool from the balcony…

Weekly News Update: November 26, 2017

Don’t blame me, Taylor Nation.

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who thinks your dancing might improve if you untie your hands first, we’re looking at our finances and wonder how exactly we ever managed to get to those concerts before. We’ll remain hopeful for a concert in town.

  • reputation already sold a confirmed 1,216 million albums on the first week, a number that rises if you add the track equivalent albums (TEAs) for a total of 1,238 million. That makes reputation Taylor’s second best-selling debut. 1989 sold 1,287 million units the first opening week.
  • reputation now adds 256,000 albums for a second week maintaining the top spot on the US charts.
  • November 28 is the closing date to create your Taylor Swift Tix account. After that, you’re no longer eligible for the pre-sales of the Stadium Tour. I don’t know if this applies to additional legs, or even if additional legs will even happen. Official information only at Taylorswift.com.
  • I might have to make a dreadful rumor control post soon since some people have come up with all sort of unfounded ideas about Taylor’s political leniencies. You can talk about conspiracy theories run amuck, but the political climate is insane right now.

Coming up in the Calendar:

  • November 29: The pre-sale starts for the UK and Ireland Stadium Tours.
  • December 1: General onsale for the UK and Ireland Stadium Tours.
  • December 2: Taylor Swift is one of the acts for 997NOW’s POPTOPIA 2017 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. Tickets are on sale October 14.
  • December 5-8: The pre-sale starts for the first US Stadium Tours from Ticketmaster.

Weekly News Update: November 19, 2017

Is it cool that I said all that, Taylor Nation?

Here at the Swift Agency, just another guy who lives in the North Pole Canada, we’re still reeling from the begging of the Rep Era. So, what did we get this week?

  • Update! Taylor’s sixth studio album, reputation (which all promos keep in lowercase) sold 1.216 million copies in the first week! Debuting at the top stop of the Billboard 200, it’s the best selling album of 2017 according to Billboard.
  • The album came out on November 10, 2017 meaning it’s not going to be eligible for the award season just starting right now. Perhaps some nominations might befall the first singles of the album, but we’ll have to wait a year for the album to be eligible.
  • The tour has been announced. It’s officially called Taylor Swift’s reputation Stadium Tour. I’ve already ranted about the possibility this might be a stadium-only tour.
  • If you are interested in pre-sales, you should make an account on Taylor Swift Tix if you haven’t already. You have until November 28. If you do, your pre-sale dates are scheduled between December 5 and December 8. Remember all this information is subject to change, so keep checking TaylorSwift.com and Ticketmaster.
  • The American Music Awards are happening right now. Taylor didn’t have any nominations, but she made a brief video appearance as part of a salute to Diana Ross.
  • Our favorite Partner in Crime, the inimitable Liz Huett, has a released a new music video for h8u. I promise you’ll love it.

Coming up in the Calendar:

  • November 28: The account creation for Taylor Swift Tix closes at 12pm Eastern Time.

Weekly News Update: November 5, 2017

I’m doing better than I ever was, Taylor Nation.

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s still learning the lyrics to “Call It What You Want“, we’re still in awe of the amazing lyrics of this song. Let’s see what happened this past week and, let’s be real here, what’s going to happen THIS week.

  • The new single Call It What You Want is now out.
  • Reputation drops in five days. FIVE. DAYS. This Friday, November 10, the Reputation Era officially begins.
  • On November 3, Scott Borchetta commemorated 13 years of discovering young talent Taylor Swift.
  • On October 30, The CW’s show Supergirl featured Liz Huett’s STFU & Hold Me single during the Girl’s Night scene at Kara’s. It’s playing on the background. No, it never gets to the chorus 😉
  • Mallary Hope‘s self-titled EP is out now. She is now leaning more for inspirational gospel. I wish her the best, even if it’s not my kind of music.
  • The Taylor Swift Store is now offering Rep’ merch.
  • Taylor Swift will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on November 11.

Coming up in the Calendar:

  • November 10: Reputation, the new album by Taylor Swift is released!
  • November 11: Taylor Swift will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. Yes, I know I just added it as an update right above, but it’s the Calendar. I gotta write it again.

Weekly News Update: October 30, 2017

I can’t say anything to your face, Taylor Nation.

Well, I could but I would spend years traveling so I decided writing would be easier. Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s not going to make it in comedy any time soon, we should have started writing this sooner. It’s past the weekend now, so I’ve had to slightly alter the name of this feature now. Let’s see what happened this past week:

  • The video for … Ready For It? appeared on Thursday and blew everyone’s minds. You wouldn’t expect a ton of sci-fi iconography from the Sparkly Dressed, but that’s what you got.
  • The writing on the walls sometimes refers to Taylor, sometimes to her director and sometimes to what sounds like lyrics from tracks we’ve heard a few we haven’t. There’s a chance some will come up in the album on new tracks.
  • Although there’s consensus that we’re seeing the new vs. old Taylor in the video, their interaction has more interpretations. Some see it as a confrontation. I think it’s more as a reinvention.
  • Taylor has not put negative connotations about the media in the video, but some media are going off on what fans have said. Yes, I know: not all media and all that. And yes, I think mainstream media sometimes gets it wrong, but at the same time I do believe in freedom of speech. I am somewhat an independent media outlet of sorts, even if it’s just an online blog.
  • The white horse. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Joseph Kahn decided to troll everyone and just put a horse in there to confuse people. You could allude it to the horse in “Blank Space” and say there’s a connection there.
  • The lightning… I’d love to think this is a reference to Sparks Fly, but I’m probably wrong. It’s just Taylor learning to channel her power.
  • Eleven days, people. ELEVEN DAYS. Get some sleep, you’ll need it.
  • UPDATE! Taylor Swift will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on November 11.

  • November 12: Taylor’s nominated for the MTV EMA 2017. You can vote for Taylor Swift for Best Artist, Best Look, Best Pop, Biggest Fans, Best Video, and Best US Act.
