She’s growing up too, Taylor Nation.

The 2014 Met Gala took place in New York last night, May 5th. Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who couldn’t make it at the last minute, we’re glad that the Enchantress was not alone. Taylor was in the company of model Karlie Kloss. Pictures on Mario Testino, one if not the best photographer for Vogue Magazine, reveal that we might soon be getting an article on one or both of them.

The challenge for the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar between one album and the next is to make sure that she appears in public enough to remain a relevant figure. In the game of fame, you are either relevant or you are forgotten. Not that any of us in the Taylor Nation can forget the Queen of Sparks. Fortunately, the Princess in Red managed to pull it off almost effortlessly. That’s no thanks to a certain Scottish Fold cat that will remain nameless.

One more thing. Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez did meet at the Met Gala. Cue the whimsical instagram video moment:

Hit the ground, Taylor Nation.

The Enchantress will soon have a chance to charm and dazzle as she’s attending the MET Gala in New York tonight. Taylor Swift was already seen attending one of the pre-parties with model Karlie Kloss. Here at the Swift Agency, just one guy who’s not the most fashionable person in the world, we’ll leave the dress forecasting to the professionals. As far as I know the MET Gala is not televised live, nor its red carpet. You can find more about it in Vogue.

T-Swizzle is up for Video of the Year for “Red”, Female Video of the Year for “Red” and featured in Collaborative Video of the Year for Tim McGraw’s “Highway Don’t Care” for the 2014 CMT Music Awards. You can vote here. Mind you, the voting rules have that familiar disclaimer that we all know all too well:

The nominee, who receives the highest number of valid votes in each category, as determined by VMN in its sole discretion, will be deemed the winner of the category. In the event of a dispute or tie or if for any other reason VMN deems it necessary or appropriate, VMN reserves the right to make the final determination as to which of the nominees will be declared the winner of the category.

2014 CMT Music Awards Voting Rules

The awards are in June 4, at the same time that the Sparkly Dressed will be in Jakarta, Indonesia for the RED Tour so she will not be in attendance. I don’t like her chances on this event. The 2014 CMT Music Awards is supposed to be about the video and “Red” is a concert video. Odds are not in her favor for this one.
