The rep Tour Arlington: This thing was a masterpiece

I’d like to be my old self again but I’m still trying to find it, Taylor Nation.

I’ve heard Camila Cabello cried during the last performance of “Shake It Off”, and somehow I know she was not alone. It was the last two nights of the US leg of the reputation Stadium World Tour in Arlington, TX. The Sparkly Dressed will take her tour to Australia, New Zealand and Japan next. She just wouldn’t end the last leg in the US without a bang, of course.

The Blonde With The Green Guitar Which Used To Be Sparkly brought out surprise guest Maren Morris on Friday (October 5, 2018) to sing “The Middle”.

The first night at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington got the surprise song that is Taylor’s first ever Grammy for Best Country Song, the iconic “White Horse”.

She couldn’t have just anybody on closing night, so instead she graced the last show with the first ever live performance of “Babe” along with the Country duo Sugarland. Yes, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush took the stage for the first time ever live performance of “Babe” with all three performers.

The last night also had the best highlight as fan favorite “All Too Well” returned to the b-stage as the surprise song.

The Sparkly Dressed is up for Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year, Favorite Female Artist Pop/Rock and Favorite Album Pop/Rock for the American Music Awards. The show is live on ABC on Tuesday, October 9th. The most important thing you need to know is that she is attending and performing as the opening act. She’s actually supposed to unveil a live performance of “I Did Something Bad” which is a song I’d really like mainstream to get stuck in their heads just so they know Taylor can still make bops.

The Enchantress is also up for three People’s Choice Awards with Female Artist of the Year, Concert Tour of the Year and Social Celebrity of the Year. The show airs Sunday, November 11th.

Coming up next in the Calendar:

  • October 9: The American Music Awards live on ABC. Taylor Swift is nominated for Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year, Favorite Female Artist Pop/Rock and Favorite Album Pop/Rock.
  • October 19: Optus Stadium. Perth, Australia.
  • October 26: Etihad Stadium. Melbourne, Australia.

The rep tour Cleveland: This is the last time I’ll ever call you babe

Happy National Snake Day, Taylor Nation.

The Blonde With The Sparkly Snake Microphone was in Cleveland on July 17, performing at FirstEnergy Stadium. Of course, she had to send some love to her very own guitar player from Cleveland and long time member of The Agency, Paul Sidoti. In case you don’t know, The Agency is the inside name of Taylor’s tour band. We here are just pretenders.

The surprise song from the b-stage on July 17 was “Babe”.

And some people are freaking out because she said “Happy National Snake Day, my favorite day of the year”. Reasons, I guess.

Speaking of snakes… Did anybody notice this before? During “Look What You Made Me Do” the bracelets light up to picture moving snakes across the audience.

Of course the bracelets light up in rhythm with the music, like here during “King of my Heart”. That’s Matt Billingslea on drums by the way 😉

Coming up next in the Calendar:

  • July 20, 21 & 22: MetLife Stadium. East Rutherford, NJ.
  • July 26, 27 & 28: Gillette Stadium. Foxborough, MA.
  • August 3 & 4: Rogers Centre. Toronto, ON.
  • August 7: Heinz Field. Pittsburgh, PA.

Sugarland’s Babe music video drops!

This is the last time, Taylor Nation.

Okey, we know it’s not. Taylor has shown she’s always down for a collab, and this one is with yet another country star: the duo Sugarland comprised of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush are dropping their new music video for “Babe”. Jennifer is the wronged wife, Kristian is the nosy neighbor, guest star Brandon Routh is the unfaithful husband and Taylor Swift is the other woman.

Yes, Taylor makes for a very convincing redhead. I know, she played one in “Bad Blood” but that was another era ago. Director Anthony Mandler brings us a tale as old of time but this one is set in the 60’s. It’s worth mentioning that Taylor might be in the temptress role, but as seen in the video, it’s Routh’s Mad Men-like gentleman character who seems to initiate the affair.

The fact that Taylor is also left behind in the floor of her kitchen lends a lot of gravitas to her situation. In the end, the husband leaves his mistress believing he can come back home and finds himself being left outside in the cold.

The video for “Babe” is now out in iTunes.

I haven’t forgotten about you, Manchester. Hope you’re enjoying your second concert day! We’ll talk about you in a bit.

Coming up next in the Calendar!

  • June 8 & 9: Etihad Stadium. Manchester, United Kingdom
  • June 15: Croke Park. Dublin, Ireland.
  • June 22: Wembley Stadium. London, United Kingdom.
  • June 30: Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. Louisville, KY.

Tour Talk: Taylor counts down the 13 days till the reputation Stadium Tour

Today it’s 12 days until the rep Tour, Taylor Nation.

And you know that the Blonde With The Sparkly Snake Mike was going to make something of it, as she has herself stated. You have to look up Taylor Swift’s instagram stories to have a look (that link only works once). In the meantime she’s posting pictures of her rep tour prep each day as well.

12 days til Reputation Stadium Tour!!!

I want you to know that if you can’t make it to a tour concert, you are not any less of a fan than anybody else. As much as it’s fun to be there, I know the amount of effort, time and yes, money, that it takes – and I know it’s a lot more if you live far away from where the tour goes. Sometimes life does get in the way, and you just hope there will enough pictures, clips and perhaps one or two articles 😉 that you can read about and follow from a distance. I will do my part to get you those 🙂

Sugarland’s Babe (feat. Taylor Swift) is out now.

She’s still a little bit country, Taylor Nation.

The Forever and Always Fearless One might still be kicking it. Here at the Swift Agency, just one guy who believe there’s still something left from the old Taylor, we believe T-Swizzle’s country roots might run too deep to just die.

The Blonde With The Sparkly Snake Microphone has a song she co-wrote with Pat Monahan from the group Train called “Babe”. Now Sugarland has not only added that song to their upcoming album Bigger but invited the Enchantress to do some vocal work.

The result is some background vocals by the once Princess in Red. Incidentally, the word on the street (ok on social media) is this song was coined back during the Red Era. The song came out at midnight yesterday (April 19, 2018) but yours truly desperate needed sleep (I did wake up at 5am to have a listening session).

You can get the song on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music or you can listen to it below (audio only).

Yes, it would be cool if they did a video for it! Are we being greedy wanting Tay to participate? Perhaps. Well, one can dream.
