Hey, Taylor Nation…

Elizabeth Huett & Bryan Brown are engaged. If you’re a long time reader of this blog you probably know that I’ve always been smitten with the beautiful and talented background singer, who sprouted wings of her own. It’s been an age since I’ve seen Liz, but she stays in touch and I’m always grateful she puts up with this unofficial wannabe writer with the secret agent persona. I can’t wait for her to finally release her musical craft into the world. I’m so happy she’ll have a loving partner with her.

Now, if the damn onion-chopping ninjas could stop making my eyes water for a second… I just want to say I’m really happy for you, Liz 🙂

On other happy news, Caitlin Evanson headlined her own concert as Caitlin Bird on Lestat’s West in San Diego, California back on December 11. Head over to WhoSay to read Jencita’s own concert review. Here’s Cait’s “Beautiful Mind” performance:

Forever Fearless: Happy Birthday Lacey Mason!

(Source: Lacey Mason via Twitter)

It was the best of times, Taylor Nation.

She was once part of the Fearless Dance Crew (not an official name, I made it up) and she’s a singer in her own right. Lacey Mason is still in the music business. She was born in December 21 in Jackson, Mississippi. A long time ago, she was a participant in ABC’s Dance Wars show. That show was the origin of more than just one member of the Fearless Tour. You probably remember backup singer Elizabeth Huett and dancer Charily Lynne Baroni were also in the same show. Taylor was a musical guest on it.

Here at the Swift Agency, just one guy who’s buried under a mountain of snow at the moment, we’d like to wish Lacey Mason a Happy Birthday! You can find Lacey on Twitter @LACEYMASON and she what she’s been working on at ReverbNation.

She’s also got her own profile here at Agency Profile: Lacey Mason.

The RED Tour goes on hiatus during the holiday season. It returns to the stage on February 1st in London, UK.

Welcome to The RED Tour, Canada! The Canadian online store gets RED merch!

Hello, Canadian Taylor Nation!

Here at the Swift Agency, just a canadian guy living in Montreal, we’re finally getting some RED Tour merchandise online at Canada’s Taylor Swift store. Also, a reminder that merch booths are often set outside the venue where the Princess in Red performs. If you’re in the neighborhood just swing by, spend some green and get some RED.

It’s really something, Taylor Nation

You guys remember Lacey Mason. She was part of the Fearless Tour, part of the Fearless Dance Crew as a matter of fact (I made up that name, they didn’t have an official one). She has remained active in music and you can hear some of her work on Reverb Nation.

She also has her own Agency Profile: Lacey Mason on this site.

Lacey is donating half the proceeds from the online sales of her songs to the Fender Music Foundation.

Here’s the official description:

The Fender Music Foundation believes that music participation is an essential element in the fabric of an enduring society. The public charity provides musical instruments to schools and community organizations nationally. Founded in 2005, this nonprofit has reached over 187,000 people through its grants. With the support of manufacturers, retailers and the public, the organization is aiming to donate 15,000 instruments to music programs in need — this year alone

You can learn more at the Fender Music Foundation.

You can find all of Lacey’s music at Reverb Nation.

Taylor has two nominations for the 2013 CMT Awards, Video of the Year for We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and Female Video of the Year for Begin Again. The show airs live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on June 5, 2013.

Showcase: Introducing Lacey Mason

(Source: ReverbNation.com)

Hello Taylor Nation!

Do you recognize her? During the days of the Fearless Tour, Lacey Mason was a member of Taylor’s first ever dance crew. She was also part of ABC’s Dance Wars.

The other reason you should know her is she’s a superb dancer and an extraordinary talented singer. You can hear more of her music at ReverbNation. She also has an LP on iTunes.

Here at the Swift Agency, one guy who’s considering staying in bed until Spring, we like to shine our very humble spotlight on artists we think have the talent. I don’t blog on request nor commission, so this just my own opinion. To showcase Lacey, we’ve picked a few clips from her YouTube channel. Let’s go to the video!
