They say go big or go home, Taylor Nation.

The People’s Choice Awards ceremony took place last night, January 7, live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California. As fan voted award shows go, I usually say that you have to show up to win the big ones. Taylor is the exception, as she won all her nominations: Favorite Female ArtistFavorite Pop Artist and Favorite Song for “Shake It Off”.

The Sparkly Dressed’s nominations were not announced during the live broadcast.

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who is happily blogging away at 3am even though I’m on vacation, we follow the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar that wins awards even when she’s on vacation herself. Taylor is off on a beach somewhere, gazing at clear blue water. Or perhaps she’s back home already revving up for her upcoming 1989 tour. She is an adorable workaholic, isn’t she? 🙂

You can read the full list of the winners here.

Welcome to the year of 1989, Taylor Nation.

Here at the Swift Agency’s mobile command (ok, my laptop), just a guy who’s still in an extended holiday break, we’re always a bit wary of fan-voted awards.

The Blonde With The Sparkly 1989 Microphone is nominated for the People’s Choice Awards for Favorite Female ArtistFavorite Pop Artist and Favorite Song for “Shake It Off”. The show airs live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California tonight, January 7, from 9pm to 11pm Eastern time on CBS. The show will be delayed for Pacific time.

The Enchantress’ chances are fair. Taylor’s not in the last attendees list updated on January 5. A performance from Lightning-On-Her Feet from her appearance on Letterman did air on CBS’ Thanksgiving Day Parade Special. It could go either way, but I think it would benefit the PCAs more to give her an award than for her to receive one. If Taylor wins tonight, the PCAs will be the first award to recognize the 1989 Era. If they don’t, they’ve missed the boat. Taylor’s a winner already awards or not.
