Welcome to the October madness! The countdown has started, it’s Taylor time in T minus 21 days to the release of Speak Now. So first up to the bat is the title track itself. Speak Now, the song, had its 30 seconds preview on Comcast. The song was allegedly also available in Xfinity.tv – however you needed a Comcast account number to get in.
As Taylor explains (relax, we’ll get to the video in a sec) the song is inspired by a friend of Taylor who learned her ex-boyfriend was getting married. The reference is to the line in the wedding ceremony that says “speak now or forever hold your peace.”
