The Sparkly Dressed dropped yesterday May 10 to tape her appearance for The Ellen DeGeneres Show. We here at the Swift Agency, one guy that somehow managed to catch the show today, think it’s a shame that this was such a short visit. Then again, perhaps it just felt that way? Taylor did manage to joke a little with Ellen right from the start of the show poking some fun at modeling for Covergirl.
Later on, Tay came back to chat a bit with Ellen. This was a bit of a short chat. The Outspoken One took the chance to talk about her points of view regarding the constant invasions on her private life.
She actually confirmed she has bought a place to stay in Los Angeles when she’s visiting, but remarked that Nashville will remain her home.
Here’s the Enchantress’s quote about living in the spotlight:
I think it’s just obnoxious if I complain about anything…I hear people talk about like, oh, the intrusions on my privacy. It’s like there are a million other jobs you could have had. And for me, I’ve just come to an acceptance of the fact, this is my life. If somebody wants to hide a relationship or has privacy issues then we don’t have the same viewpoint. For me, it’s just like live your life. If people happen to take picture then you know, you laugh about it in the car afterwards.
Here’s a clip from Taylor on The Ellen DeGeneres Show:
Is it my imagination or in the beginning Tay is wincing a bit? I think she was expecting Ellen would pop up some picture of her or ask about who she’s dating.
And here’s her performance of Story Of Us:
The Agency was joined by Daniel Sadownick. According to Liz Huett, he is a new member. I might need to do some research here. Update! You can read his own Agency Profile now.
Ellen was always the gracious host, bringing out the winner of the Ultimate Taylor Swift Fan, Madeleine, and giving her prizes.
One particular detail I’m going to stress about this fan: she was wearing cowboy boots (*HINT*). Of course the Forever and Always Fearless One came out to give her a hug and one extra bonus: VIP backstage passes.

I’m pretty sure she was wincing to be funny – hence doing it again when Ellen is actually looking at her – she’s never shied away from Ellen’s usual teasing routine and I don’t think she’s going to start now.
Daniel Sadownick is a world class, award-winning jazz percussionist whose new album “There Will Be A Day” is available on iTunes and from his website. His sound is astounding. More astounding is how TS found him, and what he is going to do for her. She continues to amaze me with her knowledge of the music industry and the productions she hears in her head.
I really love how she always kinda plays out the lyrics with her band. It’s just some visual aspect of interaction that I very much enjoy watching.
Me too 🙂
What is the *hint* about cowboy boots about? I’m confused
I’m sorry… that was me, remembering how Taylor used to wear cowboy boots. I kinda miss that.
Oh okay yeah she doesn’t really wear them anymore now she has like the riding boots or heels
