The Outspoken One on Punk’d. Have you voted for Taylor yet?

I didn’t want to do an entry on this. I wasn’t resentful, but over the top pranks are not my kind entertainment. However, I decided to reconsider since Taylor’s personality still shines through… and as heart-breaking as it is to see her get disappointed, it still shows she’s as real and as nice as it gets. MTV’s Punk’d season premiere episode aired with Taylor Swift as the first victim. I guess they couldn’t find Esperanza Spalding. Aww, too soon?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Enchantress gets lured into the scene under the pretext of writing a song. While there, she gets shown this firework array and gets convinced to trying it out. When she does, sparks fly and a boat out in the water catches fire.

The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar’s concern is evident as a boat arrives to shore with bride and groom, falling over each other in the water and demanding explanation. Add a nosy concerned neighbor that has “already called the police” and the Outspoken One’s nightmare scenario (“I have a deeply ingrained fear of getting in trouble and being sent to the principal’s office of life.”) is set. But as the Queen of Sparks gets more and more distressed and starts talking about calling the Coast Guard, the producers decide the gig is up and reveal the trick.
