It’s always a milestone when a country artist first plays the Grand Ole Opry. It was no different this past Saturday, August 11, when Kasey Buckley and Amanda Watkins, better known as the duo of Miss Willie Brown took the legendary stage. According to Country Music Is Love, they performed their hit Bonafide and the ballad Let Me In which won them a standing ovation.
“I remember being a little girl and taking a tour of the Opry with my parents,” said Amanda. “So to be standing on that stage was beyond humbling for me. It was a moment I’ve dreamed about since I was 10 years old.” It was no less exciting for Kasey. “This is, hands down, one of the greatest experiences we have had since we started playing music,” she added. Miss Willie Brown is signed with A&M Octone Records.

The talented and beautiful Mallary Hope has become quite a regular at the Opry. She took the stage last Tuesday, August 14, to perform A Girl Like Me, Unwanted and She Gets My Life. Thanks to @MallaryHopeFan for reminding us we could listen to the show online at wsmonline.com. Mallary was the opening act for Eric Church.

Taylor Swift will perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 22. No doubt she’ll be performing We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. The Princess in Red will appear in Good Morning America on October 22 for an interview. She will also perform the very next day, October 23.
