As previously reported, Taylor was back on the studio, actively writing and recording throughout December and January. You probably didn’t see that amidst all the hoopla from last week, but Scott Borchetta actually made an statement announcing it. It bears repeating since we lost track of it.
“She was on an amazing writing spree through December and January, and we were able to go in and cut all those things,” Big Machine Records executive Scott Borchetta told USA Today. “If she writes something great between now and July, it will go on the record. She’s been extraordinarily prolific the last six months.”

The Fearless One is due back on the US for March 4, when the Fearless Tour starts in Tampa, Florida. Her next TV appearance in the USA will probably be in April 18 for the Academy of Country Music (ACM).
In the meantime, a video for the title track of her Album of the Year, Fearless, will be released.
Taylor’s first single from her new and third album will go to radio in late summer or early fall, and the album will follow late in the year.

Also, today (February 9) is the full release of the Valentine’s Day movie soundtrack in stores and online. The movie comes out this Friday, February 12.
Taylor’s new song for the movie, Today Was A Fairytale, is already available as a single.
