Back in December last year, Taylor stepped out of a photoshoot for Elle magazine and caused a commotion. Here’s the previous blog entry back then.. Her curls were gone and her hair had been straightened out. Taylor has said more than once she would never straighten her hair like she did when she was younger.. for a guy. That doesn’t mean she wouldn’t do it for herself though.
We finally get to see the pictures of that photoshoot when Elle comes out on March 16. Besides the two cover editions and the inside pictures that uncover the straight look, the Fearless One also shared with the magazine what she thinks of the media scrutiny she’s now constantly undergoing, among other things.
“I’ve had countless opportunities to do some really bad things,” Taylor told Elle. “And then people start combing through everything I do trying to find the next mistake and misperception, which leads to more scrutiny. Like, if I go to a bar, even if I’m not drinking, who’s to say that a source isn’t going to say that I was doing something I shouldn’t have been doing? So it’s not only about your own moral compass, but the moral compasses of other people that you don’t know.”
