To paraphrase Taylor, great artists are great people first and great artists second. As the Fearless One continues on with her equally Fearless Tour, I’m taking the time to highlight a couple of those artists that directly or indirectly have been endorsed by her.
Mallary Hope is one artist that approaches fans as easy as talking to your friends in Twitter. She’s a down to earth person that does not keep you at a distance. You become friends with her even without realizing it. According to this great article by Jessica Zelenak from the Examiner, Mallary Hope is everyone’s best friend.
Mallary is already a successful singer. She signed with MCA Records, which released her debut single, Love Lives On, in 2009. The song is told from the point of view of a widow with a child, missing the man she loves. The lyric sprang from a conversation that she had with her older sister. Hope’s brother-in-law is in the Army and was deployed to Iraq on Aug. 3, 2009. You can read her bio at CMT.com.

Here’s Mallary’s often commented karaoke duo with the Fearless One at a Christmas Party. The audio is kinda blah but you can still make out Mallary’s powerhouse voice as Tay and Mal cover Miranda Lambert’s Gunpowder and Lead.
