Lady Antebellum is a little more funny than that

Continuing with the trend of highlighting a few of those artists that have less a a degree of separation from Taylor Swift, I once again have to highlight the great country group, Lady Antebellum. The country powerhouse is composed of Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott. Between them and Gloriana we (and by we, I mean the one guy who blogs incessantly about the Fearless One, me) are sometimes conflicted about which country group we should be supporting. Luckily they don’t run into each other in every category.

You probably have heard Easton Corbin’s I’m a Little More Country Than That, which is in the first round of nominations for the CMT Awards for Breakthrough Video of the Year. Lady Antebellum decided they just had to make their own funny version.

Lady Antebellum is up for the first round of nominations for the CMT Awards for Video of the Year for Need You Now, Group Video of the Year twice for both Need You Now and American Honey and CMT Performance of the Year for Lookin’ For A Good Time (2009 CMT Awards). You can vote for the CMT Awards here.

They also recently reached the 100th video blog in their channel in YouTube, LadyAntebellum.

You can also find them on Twitter @LadyAntebellum.

Please vote for Taylor Swift in CMT’s first round of nominations and don’t forget to vote for Taylor to win ACM Entertainer of the Year. Taylor’s next appearance will be Fresno, California on April 10. Also on April 10, the tickets go on sale for the CMT Awards, which take place on June 9. The ACM Awards air April 18! Confused? Go check the Calendar! 🙂
