TIME magazine’s World’s Most Influential People of 2010 chose none other than Stevie Nicks to praise the Fearless One. In this article for TIME, the Fleetwood Mac singer not only praises Taylor but reveals herself as a fan. You could chalk it up to the usual compliments that celebrities give each other but her assessment of Taylor’s innocence and determination rings true. She reminds Stevie of herself. And she thinks Taylor is songwriting for “the universal women and the man who wants to meet her,” referring on how her songs would impact girls from any age.
All of us girls want that boy to pick us up and think that we look beautiful even though we’re in jeans and clogs. We want it at 14, and we want it at 60.

I chose to highlight this one on your right because Tay seems to be having a moment there that just makes me want to run up to her and make her happy, yet somehow I think she needs this moment. She’s a real adult woman with real feelings and insecurities who’s not afraid to appear vulnerable on stage.
That’s why I call her the Fearless One, because wearing your heart on your sleeve is the very definition of Fearless to me.
