Every little piece, love. The 13-hour Meet & Greet goes online!

There are a few disadvantages to being a Swiftie. You have to hear all these criticisms people have against Taylor. But after all that, it’s enough to see or hear Taylor on TV, radio or the internet or just hear about one new selfless thing she’s done and everything is right with the world again. Then you remember this is a big world, and the bad stuff said ends up in your rear view mirror disappearing now.

So let’s take the one thing that can be rescued from the CMT Awards evening: the Fearless One herself. She was radiant, she was gracious and she was sporting a new look just because. Quite stunning don’t you think? We all know Taylor can do a lot more than just look pretty, but since that night the emphasis seemed to be on bad jokes and poor production, I’m glad she just decided to let her hair down (literally) and have fun with her look.

Taylor’s 13 hour Meet & Greet at the CMA Fest will be streamed live to the Taylor Nation on TaylorSwift.com and UStream.tv for fans around the world, as announced via TaylorConnect.com. If you’re familiar with UStream.tv you can also film video and reference it back to the stream using the #TaylorSwift13Hr hashtag. Also check out Taylor Swift’s UStream channel.

Taylor’s accoustic set during the event will be her only CMA Fest performance. However, there are a few things in store. You should read TaylorSwift.com for new events.

One of such is the unveiling of a new iphone application called Mix Me In2 Taylor Swift that will let you sing as the lead in a couple of Taylor’s signature songs, Love Story and You Belong With Me. The application will cost 2.99. Additional songs will cost 1.99 each according to Hollywood Outbreak.

“I love playing music, and I love creating music,” Taylor said. “And, as somebody who is also a big music fan, I always love finding acoustic versions of my favorite songs. I think Mix Me In2 will be a great way for fans to have fun interacting with my music and to listen to new versions of my songs!”

While we’re in the subject, why wasn’t Taylor’s initial iphone app ever released on iTunes Canada? We’re still waiting for it. And by we, I mean every Canadian Swiftie and me. That app was free after all. Oh well, there’s other ways to keep up with Taylor (this blog, for example).

And speaking of streams,  if you are interested in the CMA Fest in general, you might want to check out this link. Some live news directly from the festival grounds. If you get to go, could you do me a favor? I know I’ve been asking this in the last million blog entries but, if you get to hug the Fearless One can I ask you to hug her one extra second and say it comes from me? That’s all 🙂
