Click to enter now.

On October 25, Speak Now will be released and Taylor Swift will be very busy. The Fearless One will get to sing at the United Nations in an event that will be streamed via CMT.com and across MTV Networks websites such as MTV.com, VH1.com and websites across Europe, Asia, Australia and Latin America. Her performance will be attended by contest winners from around the globe, according to CMT.com.

However, the big contest that remains within the US is CMT’s Speak Now with Taylor Swift in New York contest that includes the event to New York and a flight to Los Angeles with Taylor Swift. Yes, the description does guarantee to put you in the same plane with Taylor Swift and allow you to interview her. No, this is not an international contest which has me bummed out to no end. Yes, I’ve gone over the entry rules with a fine comb. You need to be at least 13 years of age. You get to bring a lucky guest with you to share the fun. Four winners will be chosen depending on what representatives from both Viacom and Big Machine Records deem the most original and compelling essay.

Yeah, you have to write a 40 words or less essay entitled Why should you be chosen to win the trip to be with Taylor Swift at her Album Release event? To enter, go to WinWithTaylor.com. It’s kind of homework flavored (hey be grateful it was not a math test) but at least it means the winners will be chosen based on creativity. Remember Taylor will not the be one going through all the entries, so avoid inside jokes and obscure references that only a Swiftie would get (like the ones I’m fond to make? Yep avoid those). Be concise, be clear and sit up straight. Just kidding, be yourself. If at all, I do expect Taylor to get involved, say in determining the best four from a selection of finalists.
