Hello Swifties! Taylor performed on board Allure of the Seas, and from what I hear from our correspondent, she was excellent. More from that later.
Tickets for Taylor Swift’s Speak Now Tour concert in Detroit’s Ford Field for June 11 went on sale this Friday, January 21. They sold out in 90 minutes according to Detroit News. This was not any venue. This was one of the six stadiums that Taylor will play this year. A stadium. Sold out. In 90 minutes.
The story of Taylor and her fans is not ending anytime soon, is it? Yeah, cynics may be outraged and they may scream this is absurd but… ok, you get the idea I will stop now š
The Kansas City Chiefs have announced the ticket sales for the September 24 concert at Arrowhead Stadium are going to go on sale as follows:
- February 7 and 8: all taxpayers from Jackson County, Missouri will be able to purchase presale tickets in person at select Ticketmaster outlets or at the Arrowhead Stadium Ticket Office from 10am to 5pm.Ā To prevent you having to do long lines in advance, they will assign you a number one hour before the sale. Read all about it at the Kansas City Chiefs website.
- February 11: Tickets go on sale to the general public
No word on the official Taylorswift.com presale yet. It will probably happen sometime between those two dates, so please keep checking your email and sign up if you haven’t yet. You will notice that I have opted not to add presale dates to the Calendar since they are announced very close to the date and some are local to the venue, which means that not everyone has access to them. For that reason, I opt to only keep the general onsale in there.
Coming up in the Calendar!
- February 9: Speak Now tour in Singapore, Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Click here for ticket info.
- February 11: Tickets go on sale to the general public for Kansas City, Missouri at Arrowhead Stadium.
- February 11: Speak Now tour in Seoul, South Korea at the Gymnastic Gymnasium. Click here for ticket info.
- February 13: Speak Now tour in Osaka, Japan. Click here for ticket info.

How is Kansas City for September 24th already going on sale? I still haven’t revieved an email for Tulsa on September 21st! Did I miss the email?
My guess is they want to fill the big stadiums first because they know the regular venues will get filled up no matter what. No word on Tulsa yet. I’ll blog if I hear anything. Remember presales don’t get announced until very close to the sale date! š
Okay, thank you for the help! I love your blog! (:
