Note: This is yet another inside look of a Speak Now tour concert. Please stop reading now if you’d rather be surprised for your own concert.
Some pictures you just can’t minimize. That’s the Sparkly Dressed at her latest concert at Oslo Spektrum in Norway. We’re glad to learn that the concert was, according to some lucky Swifties that traveled from Stockholm to see it… EPIC.
In case you’re interested, and by now I will presume you are or you would stop reading, there’s a moment in which Taylor walks into the audience. You knew this moment during the Fearless Tour. The fake documentary Crimes of Passion would start playing while Taylor would secretly made her way to the back of the venue and show up amidst the crowd.
For the Speak Now Tour, she has a more direct approach. She just walks right off the catwalk (which is still T-shaped like for the Fearless Tour). I think this is better because we’d rather see Taylor all the time. The good news is she seems to do it… twice.
Here’s her performance at Spektrum with the Outspoken One walking down into the crowd at the end of Speak Now. Alternatively she’s been known to either play something in a smaller stage, or for the cases in which the venue doesn’t provide the space, just come back to the main stage.
And here’s Taylor singing You Belong With Me and walking into the crowd again. It’s a much shorter walk, but if you missed the first one this is a second chance.
According to the review in oslopuls.no, if you didn’t melt during the show your heart must be made of stone. Yes, it’s an overall positive review, although a bit nitpicking on the average audience age and the show being too rehearsed. I really don’t see anything wrong with either. The review is in Norwegian by the way.
The Sparkly Dressed is up for ACM’s fan-voted Entertainer of the Year award. You will be able to vote on VoteACM.com starting March 11. You can already start practicing by voting for Taylor for the 2011 Kids Choice Awards. She’s nominated for Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Song for Mine. Go vote!
