Music Builds: The CMT Disaster Relief Concert

CMT’s Disaster Relief Concert will air live from Nashville at 9pm ET/PT on CMT and will be simultaneously streamed on CMT.com today, Thursday May 12. Here at the Swift Agency, still one guy up in the Great North (Canada), just hope that it’s not going to be restricted to the US only. It’s a good cause and all proceeds go to the American Red Cross.

Props to Hank Williams, Jr. who had the initiative to start the idea behind the event and get it up and going so quickly.

Also participating on the live event are Alabama, Alan Jackson, Ronnie Dunn, Sara Evans, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban.

Also added to the broadcast will be video messages from President Obama. Taylor Swift, Shania Twain and Carrie Underwood will also send messages asking people to donate for the worthy cause.

Update! You can see the entire show at CMT.com by following this link.

And speaking about worthy causes, this Thursday May 12 at 10:00am Central Daylight Time, tickets go on sale for the Speak Now… Help Now benefit rehearsal event at Ticketmaster.com.
