Hello Taylor Nation!
The Outspoken One is back on the road again. Her stop last night, November 11, was on Jacksonville, Florida where she performed a sold out show at the Veterans Memorial Arena.
A huge shoutout to our unpaid correspondent @Enchanted2MeetU for all the concert details!
The Arm Lyrics from last night were: “Birds flying high, you know how I feel” from Feeling Good by Nina Simone. That’s an all time favorite song of mine. It has also been performed more recently by Michael Buble and also there’s an excellent cover version by Muse. The original version was part of a musical, but it’s Nina Simone’s version that is regarded as the classic one.
Okey, I overdid it with the research on that one…
The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar didn’t do a cover last night. But… I thought I’d post a clip anyways. Here’s Taylor when she literally pops up on stage to sing Our Song. Thanks to @Enchanted2MeetU for the clip 🙂
Don’t forget to vote for the People’s Choice Awards 2012 that air January 11. Taylor is nominated for Favorite Country Artist, Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Tour Headliner.
Here’s Grant Mickelson signing autographs for fans outside the Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. You can read more on that gathering of fans at the Florida Times-Union site.
