Here at the Swift Agency, still one guy that hopes you didn’t miss us too much during the blackout, we’re glad to be back. We thought we’d give you just another of those artists we love so much. Actually, if I had to pick one artist that I believe is long overdue for their breakthrough moment, this is the one. This is the amazingly talented Mallary Hope! Vocally gifted, established songwriter, brilliant, beautiful, witty, funny and a bit of a goof, she’s just a storm in a package and then some.
Here’s one female artist that could be the vocalist of any year, she just needs a platform and even though I’m far from being mainstream, I am glad to shine the spotlight (which is more of a flashlight) on her.
Mallary Hope is a native from Cohutta, Georgia who moved to Nashville to pursue her dream of being a musician. I had the chance to meet her at the CMA Fest on 2011. She’s being on tour with Darius Rucker lately. You probably have heard her song, “Georgia Peaches”, which is Lauren Alaina’s new single. Not to take anything away from Lauren, but for me the definitive version will always be Mallary’s.
There’s a new album in the works, and if you were among the few that managed to hear her samples before she close her Reverbnation page, you know they’re amazeballs. I’ll be sure to do a review when I get it 🙂
Wise Beyond Her Tears
An oldie but a goodie… I want this song available in Canada or if there’s a studio version, she needs to release it somehow!
Love Lives On
The quintessential Mallary Hope single and hit, written after her sister’s husband left for Iraq.
Blossom in the Dust
Another popular single for Mallary.
Georgia Peaches
She actually is the songwriter and the singer of this song.
Landslide [Cover]
This is a song Mallary picked to close a concert, but besides her amazing voice I also picked this clip to showcase her humor. She has to react to the classic “I love you Mallary!” scream during a silent part. Her comeback is priceless!

I love her so much. Im so thankful you shared her talent with me awhile back. Do you have her original version on the locket that I could possibly burn on to a cd. I have all of Mallory songs but somehow left this one out. I love it so much as my grandma also wears a locket with my grandpa’s picture in it and suffers from dementia as well.
I know i said this many times but thank you for all the hard word you put into this blog.
