Spoiler Warning! Behind the scenes and movie clips from the Lorax

Hello Taylor Na- errr, before we go on, I’ll give you a choice. You can just read the post and NOT click on anything and you will remain, for the most part, un-spoiled.

Both the Outspoken One and Zac Efron were interviewed about the film. You can read the interview at Flicks and Bits. Sorry, no video. Wait, no video? Who interviews the Enchantress without a camera? Get with the program, people. Ok, let’s be fair – it might have taken place via mail or phone. If I find video on it I’ll make sure to post it as well.

“It’s got this magical essence to it,” said the Sparkly Dressed about the film. “There’s something so insane about the story, there’s such loss, but then there’s also such hope to it. And that’s always been my favourite thing about the story –  the hope. One of the reasons I’ve been drawn to Dr. Seuss is the rhyming, I’ve always had this obsession with rhyming – so I grew up and became a song writer, so now I get to rhyme stuff all the time (laughs). Also, I’m drawn to anything cute, these animals in the story are heartbreakingly cute. Just ridiculously cute – maximum capacity of cuteness (laughs).”

She had some cute things to say (wow, how often she does that?) about her character Audrey: “She’s got some really extraordinary characteristics about her personality. She’s adventurous, she takes chances, she’s brave, she’s strong, all the while being the object of affection for Ted – which is this really cute crush that he has on an older girl. Also, this character, Audrey….this book was in part inspired by Dr. Seuss’ wife Audrey. Audrey is an original character in the film. For the filmmakers to create a character and name her after Dr. Seuss’ wife, it’s amazing , and to get the honour to do the voice is pretty cool, very exciting.”

You can read the full interview including Zac Efron’s responses at Flicks and Bits.

Okey, that’s it. Go back to do your homework. Ha! Even I don’t believe that one. Go back to doing whatever is it you were doing to avoid doing your homework. No, really. There’s some spoiler clips ahead. Go back now. I will turn back if I were you. Yada yada. Why are you still here?

Here’s eight movie clips straight from the movie, via Collider. I would seriously dodge them, it’s too much of a reveal. Click at your own risk!

And here’s a behind the scenes look at the voice acting of a lot of actors including Danny DeVito, Zac Efron and Taylor Swift of course. There’s no actual animation clips on this one though. It’s still spoiler-ish because there’s a lot of dialog that is given away. You decide.
