Hello Taylor Nation,
Here at the Swift Agency, one guy who’s been lucky enough to see the Queen of Sparks in concert several times, I’m really happy she appeared last night, July 2, at Tanglewood as James Taylor’s surprise guest. Taylor, err… the one that has been legendary longer, had come back to the stage and started singing Fire And Rain when he introduced the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar (no, no sparkly guitar last night – it’s still at the Treasures of the World Tour exhibit) to join him on stage.
According to the Berkshire Eagle, the unusual duet drew generations together as fans of both Taylors were pleased with the performance. This is Fire And Rain, a little shaky but it has James introducing Tay:
Later on, the Outspoken One explained how back in November of 2011, while they were backstage meeting James’ family the singer/songwriter invited the younger singer/songwriter to a “small” show in Tanglewood. This is Ours.
They also performed Love Story. Let’s go to the video!
Shoutout to @SpotAndRabbit for helping with the clips. The Outspoken One has promised her own pictures and video coming soon.
Coming up in the Calendar!
