The Sparkly Dressed played nib Stadium in Perth, Australia on December 11, which actually happened on the night of the 10. So by the time December 12 comes around here in the western part of the world the Enchantress might be blowing out 24 candles.
The concert review from WA Today gave the RED Tour concert four out of five stars, citing her many accomplishments. She’s the only female solo performer doing a stadium tour since Madonna two decades ago.
Perth Now also gave her an ovation saying, “seeing the seven time Grammy Award winner live is like watching a master class in how a pop concert should be.”
The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar (who was strumming a banjo guitar at the time) was on her speech before “Mean” when she mentioned she was turning 24 soon. That caused an impromptu “Happy Birthday” sing-a-long:

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who knows that there were fans planning to sing to her in Melbourne, we’d just like to say the point is to make Taylor happy. You can’t really ask the Perth fans not to sing to her. Hopefully she will still get another serenade at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne on December 14.

I have to admit I am disappointed with how some of the fandom (including some well-respected members) are/have been acting over this.
The fact is not everyone is going to be at that Melbourne concert and not everyone is going to get the chance to be a part of that sing-a-long and to begrudge others the opportunity to celebrate our Sparkly One’s birthday is just plain being spoiled.
My only annoyance is that no-one thought of this at Brisbane when she mentioned her birthday but, considering that mention was during the technical issues, he had other things on our mind (although I did have a present for her if I had met her 😦 ).
Thanks as always for trying to be the voice of reason among the fans.
