  • January 11People’s Choice Awards 2012. Taylor Swift was nominated for Favorite Country Artist, Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Tour Headliner. Update: She won for Favorite Country Artist.
  • January 26: The 47th ACM Awards nominees were announced. Taylor Swift is nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year for “Mean”. Voting for Entertainer of the Year starts March 19!

  • February 7: Taylor Connect, the forums at taylorswift.com come back online!
  • February 12: The 54th Annual Grammy Awards take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Taylor Swift won for Best Country Song for “Mean” and Best Country Solo Performance for “Mean”. She also performed! The show was broadcast live on CBS from 8:00pm to 11:30pm ET/PT.
  • February 13: The music video for Safe And Sound debuts on MTV and across all Viacom’s partner networks.
  • February 19: The world premiere of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax at Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal City, California. Director Chris Renaud and cast members Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Rob Riggle, Jenny Slate and Betty White will be attending.
  • February 20: Taylor Swift is scheduled to appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on NBC.
