The ACM Awards are on this Sunday, April 18 on CBS at 8/7 central.
The show starts with an explosion of country stars. Miranda Lambert with Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, John Fogerty and Charlie Daniels open the show. Following closely will be Blake Shelton, Billy Currington and Kenny Chesney. Faith Hill is the presenter for the first award, Song of the Year. Laura Bell Bundy will then perform. She will be followed by a promo from the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Bureau, the first of many.

Taylor Swift is performing Change. Performing along with her will be the UC San DIego Tritones, an a capella vocal group. The big question on everyone’s mind is what is she going to wear?

I wonder if Taylor should just skip the ACMs next year. They certainly didn’t show any respect or honor to her, and her presence there got her much greater ratings than she would have gotten otherwise. I feel so very bad for her that she worked so hard for them, even tho I’m sure she was worn out from her own concerts and her tour, and they showed such disrespect to her.
The industry is very fickle that’s for sure.
