A couple of weeks ago, I reported on a story about a girl from Jefferson County, Missouri with a terminal illness named Jessica Cannito. Her wish was to meet Taylor Swift. Make A Wish arranged for the meeting, and I’m happy to say the wish has been granted with amazing results. Here’s the news piece on the story:

Jessica indeed seems livelier and more alert than ever after the event. A remarkable improvement from before. You can read the original article on Fox2News. She’s smiling and even managed to write a note to his brother calling him a ‘wacko’.
This is the first story in a long time that made me want to get involved. I even talked to Taylor’s publicist on the phone. I didn’t really play a part, the Fearless One and the Make A Wish foundation had it all covered long before I found out about the story.
