Keeping up with Mademoiselle Swift. Private concert in Paris and possible appearances

The Fearless One is on the move! Judging from several tweets, The Agency is on route to Paris, France.

The website at Swift-France.Net announced a contest for a private Taylor Swift concert promoted by Goom Radio. I’d call this one confirmed.

According to the french website Evous, the concert will take place this Monday, October 18 in a secret location in Paris, France. Sorry, the contest is now closed. The performance is part of the worldwide release of Speak Now, which will be accompanied by a new world tour. 85 presentations are expected in 18 different countries.

There’s more but I have only as of yet unconfirmed hearsay on Twitter. Nevertheless, since everything is coming up way too fast, it might be of interest for you to know that the rumours going around say she will visit the UK sometime between the 19 and the 23 of October. I don’t like to spread rumors around but I’m afraid regular sources are a bit slow on the uptake right now and I’d like at least a few Swifties to be on the alert for the Fearless One showing up in their part of the world. There’s an additional speculation that the curly blond might also make a swift visit to Germany sometime around the 23 and 24 of October. Again, these are rumors going around Twitter and I have no official source to give you here.

Paris, November 18 is official but I’m not adding any UK or Germany dates until I see this show up in a news website somewhere.

The Philippine Star published an article in which Ovation Productions, the official promoter for Taylor Swift, announced the new date for the concert in Manila, Philippines would be February of 2011. As much as this is confirmed and official, you might notice there’s no exact date. Please follow Taylor Swift Philippines for future news.

We have some clarifications for the release calendar, this time via taylorswift.com.

On October 25th, a group of winners of contests held around the world will join Taylor for a private performance at the United Nations in New York City. The event will be streamed on many of MTV Networks’ web properties, including CMT.com, MTV.com, VH1.com and websites across Europe, Asia, Australia and Latin America.

The following day, Tuesday, October 26th, Taylor will perform live for fans from Rockefeller Plaza on the “Today Show” as part of their fall concert series. Fans can apply for passes to the show at: http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/30012397 . That night, she will do an interview and performance on the “Late Show with David Letterman.” The “Today Show” airs on NBC from 7:00 – 11:00 a.m. (all time zones), and “Letterman” airs on CBS at 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).

On Wednesday the 27th, Taylor’s day starts with “Live! With Regis & Kelly,” where she will do an interview and performance. “Live!” airs on ABC affiliates nationwide, check http://www.liveregisandkelly.com for listings by area. That afternoon, she will visit Scholastic’s New York headquarters, where she will take time out from her busy release week schedule for a special literacy event, “Read Now! with Taylor Swift,” as part of the company’s 90th Anniversary Literacy campaign. Later in the day, she will visit Madame Tussaud’s New York – the famed Times Square wax attraction — for the unveiling of her original wax figure.

Taylor’s Speak Now release week culminates on Thursday the 28th in Los Angeles, where “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” will celebrate the release of Speak Now by once again devoting an entire hour-long show to throwing Taylor’s official album release party. The Speak Now Album Release Party will air on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, November 1st (syndicated, check local listings). This is only the second time in history the show has hosted an album launch, the first was for Taylor’s Fearless album in 2008.

Taylor will be back on Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 2nd, to perform on “Dancing With the Stars,” airing on ABC at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT).
