We here at the Swift Agency have been busy trying to add every single little piece of news about Taylor but it’s a challenge. Everyone seems to be trying to get an interview with the Fearless One. Check the previous entry for that Billboard article’s highlights. Some good stuff there.
Award season is coming up, and although Taylor’s new album Speak Now is not eligible, it does bring her to the foreground for awards that rely on online voting. These are the closest award shows coming up:
- CMA (Country Music Association) Awards: November 10. Taylor is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year.
- AMA (American Music Awards): November 21: Taylor is nominated for Favorite Female Country Artist. You can vote at amavote.com.
There’s a new one: the American Country Awards. It comes from the Fox Networks and it’s a completely new deal, first time ever. I guessed they saw CMT’s rating numbers (CMT is part of MTV Networks). Country music is hot right now and there’s no denying that country award shows bring ratings. Specially when the Fearless One attends.
Taylor Swift is up for three ACA’s:
- Artist of the Year
- Female Artist of the Year
- Touring Artist of the Year
You can vote at theacas.com. The ACAs air on December 6 on Fox.
