Taylor Swift will perform Back To December at the 44th CMA Awards tomorrow, Wednesday, November 10. This was confirmed by US Magazine. All the performers are hard at work rehearsing for the awards show at the Bridgestone Arena. Here’s Miranda Lambert behind the scenes at the rehearsals.
The Outspoken One has been nominated for two People Choice Awards, Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Country Female Artist. You can vote here.
Hillary Scott from Lady Antebellum won SESAC Songwriter of The Year for all the songs she’s co-wrote with her band mates. She co-wrote Need You Know, Run To You and Our Kind Of Love. Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood are also co-writers but not SESAC members. Need You Now, American Honey and I Run To You were also awarded Country Performance Awards. Taylor Swift’s songs Fearless, You Belong With Me and White Horse won a Country Performance Activity Award each. More on that story at Tennessean.com.
Jake Gyllenhaal was asked point blank about his relationship with the Outspoken One, even though his PR had already warned the media against asking him personal questions. It was his on-screen counterpart, Anne Hathaway, who actually saved him by responding jokingly:
“Hang on, hang on. I have to say something. I have been Jake’s on screen love interest for years,” said Anne, visibly joking, according to Us Magazine. “You keep the conversation to me and only me or otherwise I’m going to get nasty! Thank you.”
“Don’t get Ella Enchanted pissed off,” added her co-star as quip.
“Don’t get Ella Enchanted pissed off, and I’m not obedient,” added Anne.
The CMA Awards will be broadcast live on Wednesday, November 10 at 8/7c on ABC.
The Outspoken One will attend the BMI Awards tonight at the BMI Music Row offices in Nashville, Tennessee.
