It’s crazy that is has been a year and we’re back to December. I guess we do go back to it all the time.
The Outspoken One attended the CMT Artists of the Year last night, November 30, to receive her award from the hands of Hayley Williams. The CMT Artists of the Year airs this Friday, Dec. 3 at 8/7c on CMT. Artists honored last night included Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift and the Zac Brown Band.
Maroon 5 was on hand to perform an a cover of Taylor’s single Mine which apparently has some sort of a reggae flavor.
“I want to thank Maroon 5 for coming out here and taking on such a wordy, girlie song,” Taylor commented.

Her world wide Speak Now tour tickets for the US/Canadian leg of the tour are in the presale stage, with the first general public ticket sales opening this Saturday, December 4.
And on another news, Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal have finally received an official celebrity couple name. The consensus seems to be to call them Swyllenhaal. The big news however is a picture in which both of them seem to be having a good time with each other. Regardless of how you feel about them, they do seem happy.
Of course whether they could be just good friends or something else is not really something we’re going to debate. Taylor is mature enough to make her own decisions, so as I have been known to say on occasion, I trust Taylor Swift.
This is not a unbiased blog, folks. I’m with the curly blond that bakes cookies at night and calls it a party.

Nashville has always been a safe haven for Taylor. Usually she can go out with her mom without being followed. Music town is not usually a destination where the paparazzi flock to. However that might be changing, which means the Outspoken One might find suddenly needing the services of bodyguards and such. Rarely does Taylor needs such constraints in her adoptive hometown, and it’s got me worried a bit to be honest.
That’s not to say that I don’t think that Taylor can’t handle it. I just hope she doesn’t have to.
