In a recent article from the Associated Press via the Miami Herald, the Outspoken One talked about her love of makeup. “When I’m in Nashville, I feel like I can go natural and not really worry about it, but I generally love makeup and I love dress-up. That’s why award shows are so much fun for me,” said Taylor. “I’d never wish away makeup and getting all dolled up.”
The new Covergirl deal has not gone to her head, though. Taylor is still is very much in awe of the fashion world. “I went to the Met Gala with Ralph Lauren! It was an amazing time, an enchanting night. I got to wear a white gown like a wedding gown from one of his collections.”
T-Swizzle’s deal as a Covergirl spokesmodel will be a new line of beauty products. The line was supposed to be introduced on January 2011, but I guess Covergirl wants to generate buzz for the holiday season.
Taylor does like to experiment with her look. One of those, her straight look, was a surprise to a few at the American Music Awards. I guess I am the only one that saw the CMT awards earlier this year when had the same straight look.
“I go through phases. When I was recording my new album, I wore a side braid on the left side every day. It just seemed to be the only style that seemed like the right one at the time. Then there was a phase when I’ll pin my hair in elaborate updos. In wintertime, I’ll usually straighten my hair, and in the summertime and spring, I wear a lot of headbands. In the fall, I wear a lot of knit beanies.”
The new line is called NatureLuxe and offers the NatureLuxe Silk Foundation and the NatureLuxe Gloss Balm.

Haha No I remember the CMT Awards, and I think it’s funny how everyone was like “Wow” when she had straight hair. Cause Taylor said once before that she straightened it during the winter lol She has worn her hair straight in the Elle Magazine, to Hayley’s birthday party, out with Selena in LA, out and about with Abigail… (I’m not a stalker.. Really) lol
