Taylor thanks Swifties for all her birthday wishes!

Hey!
I wanted to say a huge thank you for all the love you guys sent my way on my 21st birthday. Wow. I really felt it from you, and I can’t thank you enough. My birthday was wonderful, and the highlight for me was when my brother walked through the door in the middle of the party.. He’s away at college and I didn’t think I’d see him until Christmas! But there he was, walking through the door with his backpack. I was SO surprised! I had so many people I love around me, and was thinking of all of you (who I love too). Working on planning the tour every day has been so exhilarating. I hope your holidays are memorable and quirky and special, and I’ll be thinking of you as always.
In case you haven’t heard Taylor doesn’t have any Grammy nominations this year. That seems to have been expected, as she has gone ahead and booked the Speak Now tour leg in Japan on those dates. As a matter of fact, her concert on Osaka, Japan is the very same night of the Grammys (February 13).
And… this doesn’t really fit anywhere else, but I still think of Taylor as the Forever and Always Fearless One. The Outspoken One is a nickname that @abbyogger 🙂 and I came up with in collaboration. It has a nice ring to it, but hasn’t grown up on me yet. Taylor will always be the Fearless One to me. Anyways, lately I tend to call her “T” which is a little bit of an oversimplification.
I’ve been talking about this too much, haven’t I? Nah, not obsessed at all. Move on, nothing to see…
On other news, Speak Now was the number one album according to customers in Amazon.com‘s best of 2010 list.
January 5: The People Choice Awards are broadcast on CBS at 9/8c. Voting is closed now. Taylor Swift is up for Female Artist of the Year and Country Artist of the Year.
