This story of us seems to be repeating from last week.
Billboard announced a new tally for the week ending on December 26, 2010. Susan Boyle’s The Gift has only dropped 6% since the previous week, which is impressive, remaining on 2nd place. The Glee Christmas Album rose two positions with a 1% growth to 3rd place. Jackie Evancho’s O Holy Night is down 21% but holds steady at 4th place. Michael Jackson’s Michael goes down 34% percent and drops to 5th place.
And the cynics might be outraged, screaming this is absurd but Speak Now is still on the number one spot with 276,000 units sold. Her previous tally was 259,000. So Speak Now has gone up over 6% if my math is correct. Yeah if it weren’t for math I’d have A’s across the board on my high school report cards too, so I used a calculator to make sure.
You can read the full story on the Billboard site.
Take a look at Taylor’s Covergirl commercial. I must confess I had not seen it.
What I actually love is the behind the scenes when she’s acting out a rap song near the end… Oh ok, you want to see that too? Go ahead 🙂
Big shoutout to Taylor Swift Philippines for that last clip!
