Hello Taylor Nation!
Here at the Swift Agency, one guy who did stop blogging for a few days due to busy weeks at the office (the real one with the job that pays for this site), are slowly coming back to having some free time again. We might need some extra hours of sleep during the weekend.
The Enchantress’ song Haunted will be featured in an upcoming episode of the HBO series True Blood, reports RollingStone.com. The show’s music supervisor disclosed the song will be used during “a racy, sexy scene.” I know very little about the show, but based on the overall adult theme, I’m going to guess that could happen anytime. It was the episode’s writer that had the idea of using Taylor’s song. Initially, Swift’s camp refused permission to use the song but the final word came from the Sparkly Dressed herself who approved it.
The episode featuring Haunted is scheduled to air this Sunday, August 21.
The Ouspoken One’s Speak Now… Help Now! fundraiser concert is up for an award for VH1’s 2011 Do Something Awards in the concert category. The awards already took place in Los Angeles but the show airs tonight, August 18 on VH1. Taylor did not attend, but she did win. I hope I didn’t spoil it for you, but come on… the list of winners was already published on a discussion thread in VH1.com. besides… I’m making sure this is published after the show starts.
