Hello Taylor Nation!
The Blonde With the Sparkly Guitar played the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida last night, November 12. The St. Petersburg Times gave her high praise, calling her wise beyond her years and one artists that understands the transformation girls go through on their way to womanhood. The author even goes as far as to give an explanation of Taylor’s success, calling her “the ultimate master of the humble brag,” as Taylor having the ability to show off but remain likeable. This is one great article. Go to St. Petersburg Times for the full story.
Going back to the concert, the Sparkly Dressed opted for Guns N’ Roses lyrics. Can you believe it? The Arm Lyrics were: “I could rest my head knowing that you were mine.” from the Guns N’ Roses song, November Rain. I did not see that coming.
I have picked up David Cook‘s Pathway and Daniel Sadownick‘s There Will Be a Day albums from the iTunes store and I suggest you do too. It’s instrumental jazz music. It might not be your usual cup of tea, but sometimes it does pay to step out of your comfort zone and listen to something you don’t hear often. I do like to listen to odd jazz album once in a while so I might be biased. I’ll give them a review soon enough 🙂
Here’s Grant Mickelson signing autographs for fans outside the Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida on November 11. You can read more on that gathering of fans at the Florida Times-Union site. Note: I’ve also added this picture to the Jacksonville concert post so it can be seen in the right location, but I did want to call attention to it here.
