Hello Taylor Nation,

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles tonight and Taylor Swift won two awards: Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance, both for Mean.

The Civil Wars also won for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Folk Album for Barton Hollow. Best Country Album was won by Lady Antebellum’s Own The Night.

Joy Williams and John Paul actually sung a brief version of Barton Hollow and then proceed to introduce Taylor Swift. I really wished for Safe And Sound, but the Sparkly Dressed opted to finally close a pending chapter from her previous Grammy appearance by singing the very song that gave her two wins, Mean. She did changed one of the lines at the end to say Someday l’ll be singing this at the Grammys.

Tomorrow, the music video for Safe And Sound debuts on Taylorswift.MTV.com at 8pm ET. A few minutes before it will be broadcast at 7:54pm on MTV First: Taylor Swift across all MTV’s Viacom partner networks.

That’s just the beginning of a busy week for the Outspoken One. TV Press Feed reports she will be a guest on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Monday, February 20.
