Believe it or not, choosing just your favorite artists and leaving the rest blank doesn’t improve your chances. They don’t take a look at everyone’s list and decide to give it to someone just because they only picked one Meet & Greet. They take everyone who wants to meet, say Martina McBride, and roll the dice. If I chose every possible artist on the list, I improve my chances on getting someone. I got two. Not the ones I wanted, but still I will meet them.
Works even better if you used the group of two form, that way you can apply and mention your friend and your friend can apply and mention you. This way you can go to each other’s Meet & Greet lines. However, there is potential for abuse the moment you exchange for the actual passes, since someone could start thinking about selling them… Although they still would need to travel to Nashville on the day before to do the exchange.
Confused yet? I expect the new and upcoming artists to give up and just meet whoever wants to talk to them.
Anyhow… Round 2 begins. You can sign up at the Fan Fair Hall the day before the drawing – but if you already filled up the online form, you’re already in the list! They will send you either a text or an email with the results. You better keep your phone charged.
