Hello Mallary Hope fans!
The Mallary Hope Fan Club Party took place at Puckett’s Restaurant on June 7, 2012. Of all the events that take place during CMA Fest week, I love this one the best because it’s far from a media event and obviously so close to Mallary’s personality. It’s a very intimate setting, but it’s open to everyone who says they want to be there. It’s inside a country restaurant which makes it feel like a family reunion a lot more than a fan club meeting.
The Hopester (yeah it was time I came up with my first nickname for her) charmed the crowd packing the restaurant with several songs. Feel free to correct me with the names, the order, and I’m sure I missed a couple here. She sang Daughter Of The South, You Don’t Deserve Me, Georgia Peaches, This is Me, You Don’t Know Me, The Locket and Black Widow. Yes, I was kinda hoping for Woman On A Mission, but I guess she’s saving that for later.
Mallary doesn’t mess around. Okey, she does but when she does it’s extremely funny and endearing. She’s always impecable on her vocals and her timing. With a powerhouse voice that would give anybody (and I mean anybody) a run for their money, you can also feel her tone charged up with whatever emotion is it that the song requires.
I was hoping to have at least a couple of videos from the party, but… ok, I won’t complain about the internet in hotels. I’ll have those ready when possible. You can, however, see the entire fan club party recorded on ustream.tv.
Update! The video clips are up!
